December 2, 2021 - Last bottle of 6 and ending in style - this feels right at its peak, so much going on, this really is CNDP in all but name.

October 17, 2021 - Perfect cork with hardly and wine staining on the sides. Popped and poured. Lovely mature rhone nose, fresh red fruits and hint of leather. Bright deep red with a hint of orangey brown at the edges. Good acidity and freshness, mostly red fruits and a little herby on the palate. Drinking very well.

August 20, 2021 - Still a delicious drink, not quite as spectacular as the last bottle. Not quite as intense as the last bottle but otherwise quite similar.

June 13, 2021 - Held this bottle for about ~8 years, one more bottle left. Coravin-ed first half of the bottle on a Friday; noticed that cork didn't close up well. Removed the cork with an ah-so on Sunday and it came out a little crumbly.

Medium garnet color. Distinctive meat/leather notes, ripe raspberry, plum, and subtle cinnamon/spice aromas. As it opened up, detected touch of coffee, mushroom. On the palate, stewed/jammy fruits, almost semi-sweet. Imagery of a german liquor-laced fruitcake comes to mind.

Silky mouthfeel, very smooth tannins. Medium finish... though shorter finish than I remembered/expected.

May 3, 2021 - PnP. No bricking or browning at all. Lovely nose of leather and spice. This is still drinking beautifully. Flavors of spice, touch of licorice, baked cherry. Silky mouthfeel. From my perspective, I think this will be tasty for 6-8+ years to come. My last bottle. On day two, after the final 1/3 of the bottle spent the last 18+ hours re-corked in the fridge, this is still drinking well, with little overnight change. Perhaps a touch more acidity, though it’s cold so hard to tell. Reaffirms what I said about this having 6-8+ years of additional good drinking.
