January 30, 2017 - Been holding this one back for a while and enjoyed tonight with a nice spaghetti w/meat sauce. Color was deep with purple all the way to the edge. Fresh aromas and nice peppery dark fruit. Good acidity but a bit of a hole in the mid palate. Decent finish. Better than I had expected but perhaps not showing really classic cab franc profile but might have been overpowered a bit by the meat sauce.

March 3, 2013 - peppery nose, medium legs, no overbearing fruit, just pepper and mixed berries.
