July 22, 2022 - Lovely mature PN on the nose, with ripe raspberries and other berries. A bit tired and over the top, maybe. No tannins left.

November 10, 2017 - Light, developed and a bit sweet PN aromas. Mature, soft and delicate fruit on the palate. Rather tired, however, which could be due to the decanting three hours in advance.

May 2, 2017 - Still young and far to go, but slightly overworked and overextracted

February 5, 2017 - Wow! A vast improvement from my last bottle. Very earthy, dark cherry fruit core coated with autumn leaves, anise and strong stony notes. Serious and still quite firm on the palate, but the structure has mellowed and the fruit is much more present this time around, showing impressive complexity and length, with a markedly rustic finish. I think this can still go further.

February 26, 2016 - Lots of raspberry and body. Really vibrant and satisfying. Very clear in colour although lacks acidity and complexity. But drinks well now and I would say this is already in its sweet-spot, and could be best to drink sooner rather than later. I was really surprised at the quality of this wine/bottle.

October 26, 2015 - Very different experience than the notes below. This was a terrific bottle, perfect condition, cork, etc. Deep cloudy garnet in the glass. A bit of a funky nose at first, but it quickly blows off into a wonderfully floral and perfumey bouquet with rustic earth backing. White flowers and violets with damp soil, wet leather, and some iron. Thinning out somewhat on the palate with metallic notes but with tremendous red fruits: raspberries, blueberry juice, and drying cranberries / craisins. Was really surprised by how good this wine was, but it honestly showed great and the company and service agreed.

October 25, 2014 - Damn. This had already passed retirement. So disappointed I had this some years ago, where it was very good. Now it was done. Not a simple drop of fruit left, and no animal notes. We didn't even finish half of the bottle.

September 26, 2014 - Has seen its best days. Not enough fruit left. Secondary aromas. A bit oxidated. Though still enjoyable but should have been drunk a few years earlier.
