April 15, 2017 - This wine was phenomenal. Rich full structure. One of my fave pinots ever.

September 19, 2015 - Full-bodied, ripe fruit, deep burgundy color. Suspect peak age now. Glad I finished this off now. Delicious accompaniment with stuffed pork chop.

March 2, 2015 - Lost it. Either too long in cellar or not stored properly by retailer.

January 21, 2015 - Popped & poured a 375. Still some decent life on it, so if you subscribe to the theory that 375s age faster, you probably are looking at 2017-2019 on a 750 for reasonable life. Stand by my comment that this is the closest they got to Soter era Etude, but still not there. He had an ability to get an underlying depth that isn't there on this. It isn't to say this isn't a decent drink, it just isn't as good as it once was.

November 23, 2014 - Drank with a dinner of turkey, dressing, and mixed vegetables. As a fan of Napa cabernets, this is one of the better pinot noirs I've had. Very high alcohol for a pinot noir, which makes it more like the cabernets that I favor. Initially hit with a powerful nose of alcohol, Asian spices, and fruit. Good acid balance, dark fruit, and tannins...not weak or watery. Wish I had more bottles of this!
