February 21, 2018 - Slight oxidative notes, more reminiscent of a Savenniers with caramel and honey mixed in with some floral. Mouth and finish are also in that direction, though with more acidity than a Savenniers. Also finishes completely dry. Interesting, and also enjoyable.

June 16, 2017 - A bit muted at first; drinking well with 30+ minutes of air in the bottle. Lightly honeyed/caramely golden and green apple aromas and flavors. Good tart acidity. Seems to be a touch of oak, but understated and well integrated. Some silky fleshiness to the body, while staying light in weight thanks to the ample acidity. Seems to be aging slowly and gracefully; I may have opened this several years too soon; not exactly compelling right now; drinking exactly as one might expect of a nice Loire Chenin Blanc part of the way along its trajectory. In any case, tasty/moreish, with plenty of typicity, and certainly enjoyable.

March 12, 2015 - Uncle Rob's Visit: The biggest dud among the whites – not sure what this was trying to be … some of these chenins have a sweetish character that is attractive and others have a bracing acidity but this was sort of in the middle and thus didn’t really achieve anything. Lemon, almond and herbs in the profile.
