December 20, 2021 - Hitting its stride. Still fresh, but hints of secondary petrol. Lemon, apricot, honey, apple, pear. Paired beautifully with pork chops, baked cinammon-sugar apples, peppers & onions.

October 1, 2021 - Dinner in the Provinces - Redux! W/Mirela/Todd/Valerie (Chez Walker - Princeton, NJ): Opening wine, an aperitif for our guest chef and myself (sour chef) as we prepped the dinner. Chilled, PnP. In my cellar 12+ years, prior bottle tasted 2012...

Medium/full brass gold color. Nose showing orchard fruits, faint petrol and flint. Rich and layered palate, of baked apple, poached pears, honey, peach, apricot, hint of key lime. Full bodied, flavors persist through the mid palate. Tangy and holding some acidity. Full body by Riesling standards, long finish...

Too bad this was my last bottle. This vintage had been criticized as warm, this bottle showed real depth of fruit. Improved with time - even better 90 mins in as it evolved. If you have one its a great time to try it - would give it a little time to show if venue allows.

September 9, 2021 - Super apple and pear and razor sharp pineapple acidity. Lovely.

May 6, 2021 - Extremely complex including my favorite note of kerosene from developed Riesling (not the turbo kerosene from Australien Riesling but the delicate from Mosel - don't understand why the Germans try to avoid it now a days). High acidity and perfect balance. Simply outstanding
