October 6, 2019 - Rich dark fruit. Classic Meo silky fruit driven style. Sweetness behind the acidity of Burgundy. Profound depth and length..... I simply don't like the Burgundian style. Too much acidity, too little fruit. If you do like Burgundy you'll love this wine.

August 28, 2019 - Tasted blind - Beautifully laced mineral, perfumed fruits of dark cherry, and chewy berries. Great concentration, rich oak spices intertwined with liquorice, deep earth and gamey herbs (a character I find in Vougeot). Youthful and vibrant with Premier/ Grand Cru depth, very charming. The high pitched glossed oak and muscular structure/ oak tannins reminds me of wines from Meo Camuzet. Vosne Romanee Premier Cru Aux Brulees, Meo Camuzet? (93+/100)

March 17, 2019 - This took me a minute to get used to. But, over an hour red fruit, nice minerality, spice, great length and texture emerged. This is young and primary but excellent depth.

November 18, 2018 - A Survey of Clos Vougeot (Skokie, IL): Served double blind. Very bright, with some cranberries and strawberries on the nose, along with a mild hint of confection. Lighter in style, with some nice juiciness here, and the strawberries being quite prominent. Juicy, and while not the most complex, certainly quite yummy. No sense of green, this could be 2008. My 2nd, group's 3rd.

June 28, 2018 - Deep ruby with red and dark fruits, hint of spices. Plenty of oak spice on palate, but with good level of extraction, this is a wine for long haul. Grippy tannin, but good potential, try again in 5yrs time.
