November 6, 2023 - Reminds me of some of the Vosne Romanee Pinots I have recently had. Very gentle tannins but lots of earthy, leathery and fruit nose. Good finish with lingering palate. A perfect wine for a light meal.

October 12, 2023 - Acidity is relatively high. Lacks any noticable aroma. Not a bad Burgundy Pinot, but definitely won't buy again.

April 16, 2023 - Opened in HK, P&P and enjoyed over several hours.
Very pleasant Vougeot, and better than the 2013 that I had a few months ago. More expressive on the nose with stronger red fruit; tannins were better resolved and it was less brooding overall. Good structure, minerality and balancing acidity - and I believe that it will continue to unfurl its pleasures with a bit more time.
This was the consensus WOTN, tied with the 2000 Clos de Tart (which I personally voted for). Have scored as is today for me. Will definitely keep at this level for a while, with some possible upside. Look forward to checking-in again in 2+ years. -

November 6, 2022 - excellent; rich ripe cherry, slight cola fruit, light glycerin mouthfeel, aromatic; a rich wine in taste and aromas but elegant and light on the palate. drinking well now.
