September 14, 2012 - Modern, sleek and stylish nose of spiced cherry with some roasted character. Floral hints. Multi-dimensional palate with long juicy finish. Really very good.

January 24, 2012 - VDP- winetasting, Hotel Jacob, Hamburg, Germany: a very small monopol location, only 0,7 hectar.......very intensiv, power but with smooth elegance, vanilla, black fruit, creamy, very long aftertaste, this wine is very nice to drink now, but I think this will improve by cellaring too! 93-95

October 26, 2011 - Tasted at the premiere Grosses Gewächs at Kloster Eberbach 25/9/2011. Very nice mouthcoating texture, some rubbery aromas, violet and leather. Tannic with high acidity but concentration of fruit is very high. Somewhat hollow mid-palate relatively to the wines of Meyer-Nakel which we tasted before. Spicy and sweet finish.
