    September 26, 2017 - 2 hour decant, licorice and blackcurrant on the nose with a little vanilla, tanins fine giving a little grip, more concentrated black berries on the palate mixed with warm spices and a medium acidity leading to a medium finish, unfortunately this is all dominated by the alcohol. Still a couple more years in this but I don't think there will be any improvement.

    June 21, 2012 - Refined bouquet with spices, cinnamon and oak. On the palate also spices, beautiful oak, cinnamon, nutmeg and chocolate. The tannin is soft and round, but also a bit sticky still. Good bitterness. A well balanced and fairly complex wine with good acidity and length. Probably still a bit too young. Give it another 2+ years of cellaring.

    October 9, 2011 - PnP. Madium to dark rubi color, red rim. A bit closed on nose, alcohol. Medium bodied, fruity, astringent, tannic, spicy, more rounded - if any- than El Recio. Long finish. A couple of hours deccant would help this wine, even though a bit muted on nose, the palate shows potential.
