  January 7, 2016 - Christmas Eve 2015: The biggest dud in the lineup – not sure if it needs more age or if the blend just didn’t work for me. Balanced, moderate tannins, with notes of wild herb, tar, tobacco.

  June 7, 2014 - The cab sings sweetly (and very loudly) in this bottle with creamy freshness and smooth tannins. It held up well over the course of the entire evening and was as rich and smooth and sweet at the end as it was in the beginning. Very nice, its drinking particularly well right now.
  
  At a mid $30's price point I think this is a particularly good value and I just went out and bought 4 bottles!

  September 25, 2013 - Colore scuro, profondo e vivace. Al naso risalta il Cabernet, con il suo carico di frutta nera e un certo sottofondo erbaceo, ma anche il territorio con note floreali (di Viola e lavanda) e balsamiche. Sottofondo speziato e di legni aromatici (sandalo). Palato equilibrato e piacevole, con tannino morbido, l'aciditá sufficiente a conferire una discreta beva. Finale discretamente lungo.

  October 30, 2011 - Amazing blend. The Barbera really stands out on the nose as on the palate, though its 1/4 of the blend. The nose has a crushed rock minerality note with plump red fruits and lilacs. Same on the palate with a note of sandalwood and balsamic. Really cool wine.
