August 20, 2015 - A bit dark but tasty. Heavier than the typical Biale, but signature spice, pepper, dark cherry. Still great with more years to drink

April 30, 2012 - Decanted approx. 4 hours ... Big, lush mouthfeel and smells like heaven (classic Zin on the nose). Big blueberry pie on the front end, with cocoa and blackberry. Long, very dry finish gives much needed balance. Rich, creamy, gooey goodness in a bottle. Just this side of over-the-top, this was wonderful with big beef, and on its own before dinner. My only knock is that, even after the long decant, this one still showed its alcohol with a very hot finish. Maybe will integrate better with more time? Lovely other than the heat ...Mark's birthday 2012
