October 19, 2019 - Clean color for its age, decanted for 45 minutes, ever so slight oxidative nose but went away in the glass. Pretty simple and the right time to drink.

January 27, 2018 - Very nice, haven't had this in a few years. A bit more simple then I remember from previous bottles.

November 27, 2015 - Rumors of its death are premature. Still spectacular

February 26, 2015 - Beautiful deep yellow color, but that was the end of the appeal. The wine was oxidized, with its mineral character still in evidence, and with just a bit of butterscotch in the finish.

July 17, 2014 - CT Tasting Group (My House): Nose shows aged yellow fruits, custard and chalk. There is a nice quality to this juice that provides an even flow across the palate; bright citrus and a chalky/ limestony minerality that run nicely together. Oak is still evident though was less noticeable after several hours of air. Medium+ finish. Very Good – Drink or Hold.

February 13, 2012 - La Confrerie des Chevaliers du Tastevin (Vancouver) (L'Abattoir): Light to medium yellow. Pronounced nose offers notes of heavy but classic oak (nutty, little bit of butter) with citrus fruits, mushrooms and maybe even a bit of cheesy funk. This nose was gorgeous. On to the palate with a soft and medium to full weighted mouthfeel, solid acidity and good length. Nice soft citrus flavours with nutty oak and hints of minerality. This finishes tart and fairly fresh. Drinking extremely well right now. Excellent.

December 25, 2011 - A nice golden coloring when poured. A bit of acidity which blew off quickly leaving a very smooth, mature W. Burgandy! Flavors included apple, quince and pear with a hint of vanilla and some mineral compenents. Very Very Smooth! At it's peak if properly cellared!
