April 14, 2024 - Clean with crystal garnet in the center. Nose of some balsamic notes with some bitter cherry and earthiness. On the palate it is mostly cherries and some dark stoniness and earth essence, but no tannins. Certainly ready now and for a few more years.

June 20, 2021 - Agree with DNA.O’Neill’s note. Initially, rich and on the opulent/porty (relatively speaking) side for a Gattinara. Settled down with some air.

March 6, 2021 - This lived up to all expectations. Very tasty and sophisticated Gattinara, now at its best. Quite a lot of bottle variation over the years, but on average the best I've tasted so far Gattinara (and I've tasted many). Unfortunately, this was the last bottle.

December 20, 2020 - PnP. Fulgt over fire timer. Rubinrød, litt murstein i kanten. Floral, lyse røde bær og skinnbelte. Bra frukt i munnen, steinfrukt med litt saltaktig mineralitet. Beherskede tanniner, krydret utgang, liten touch varme. Flott nå og i skjæringen mot mer modning da siste glasset drar på med tjære og tobakk.
