March 27, 2017 - PnP then consumed over 2 hours. A husky, hirsute, barrel-chested, kind of Cabernet laden with cedar and spice. Over time, the dark fruit brings flavor and textural balance into focus, but tannin remains too conspicuous.

July 19, 2015 - Popped and decanted for a few minutes, and then began to drink. Just an amazing wine. I thought it was drinking better than a 2008 Plumpjack Estate Cabernet, which we drank earlier in the night.

December 25, 2014 - Served at Christmas dinner with boeuf bourguignon. From memory - big California cab, blackberry and spice. Supple tannins and good balance keep it from going over the top. Great stuff.
