  March 4, 2024 - This was a much better showing than my previous bottle. It took a lot of air to get there, but this really was beautiful. Classic Monprivato with bright red fruit and floral perfume. Wonderfully elegant and pure with great balance. Very excited that this wine seems to be going in the right direction.

  March 1, 2024 - (100% Nebbiolo aus aus der begehrten Monopollage von Mascarello in Castiglione Falletto, wo kalkige Böden vorherschen. 14.5% Alkohol) Helles Rubinrot, dezente Orangetöne. Der Duft ist schlicht genial, feminin, hellfruchtig, florale Noten nach Veilchen und getrockneten Rosen, ein Barolo-Parfüm sondergleichen, eine Droge, direkt nach dem Entkorken voll da, entwickelt sich dieser Duft mit Luft zu einem wahren Gedicht, grandios. Im Gaumen elegant, feingliedrig, trotz der Hitze dieses Jahrgangs wirkt der Wein frisch und leichtfüssig, das Terroir spricht Bände, das Tannin ist von höchster Güte, die Säuer stimmt, grosse Harmonie, sehr gute Länge, würziges Finale nach Lebkuchengewürzen und wiederum roten Kirschen. Das ist schon ziemlich grosses Barolo-Kino. Der Wein hat Reserven für 10 Jahre aber hey, sowas muss man echt nicht lagern sondern einfach geniessen! 95 vvPunkte

  February 11, 2024 - Light in color and body but in no way lack of depth and concentration. Rose, cherry, smoky wood, spice, and good amount of mineral. Fine tannins and high acidity. Balanced and Long finish. Great wine.

  January 21, 2024 - Piemonte et al (Winechester): This is more like it. A typically lovely bottle from a generous fellow diner. Someone described it as "giggle juice" and while this is a serious wine, the description is also fair.

  August 13, 2023 - Needed to decant for at least two hours. Opens up nicely. nice balance of fruit and tannins. lighter in color
