May 20, 2012 - I remembered this bottle being a little bit more exciting upon its purchase. The nose, with all of its dried fruit characteristics, came off almost dessert-like, but a stinging streak of alcohol broke that up. Flavors made for a nice pair with French onion soup, but a lack of acid and mid palate really hurt this wine. Still solid, especially for the price.

December 17, 2011 - theses sleeper rieslings are amazing. starting with the business model and working on the excellent price point with the supple medium body, light petrol and warmer climate than germany fruit flavors, an amazing bar is set by this new world producer. bravo.

May 22, 2011 - Drank a few weeks ago . . . . but recall petrol and hint of sweetness in a balanced wine. Citrus and white stone fruit on the palate. OK finish.

March 9, 2011 - Golden honey color, with apricot and melon on the nose, but the highlight is the interesting palate which echoes Mosel riesling, with nice stoniness, nuts, honey, and peach, with a slightly fizzy mineral finish. Had a modest new world component to it as well (oakiness?) which wasn't entirely pleasing and not as long and complex as similiarly priced German competitors, but worth a look. Have enjoyed other wines from C&C, notably their pinot noir.

February 1, 2011 - Classic wine with tart citrus, minerality, slate and green pineapple. Really nice for its impersonation of a nice Mosel kabinett.

December 14, 2010 - Third bottle. Crystal gold with lite viscosity in the glass. Melon, apricot, floral, petrol and herbs on the nose. Initial frizz, then nuts, apricot and honey on palate. Short finish. Better in Summer...appears to be fading.

November 10, 2010 - Served (too cold at first) as a sipper before dinner with friends. A nice bottle in a lighter, dryer style. Honeydew and apple notes, with hints of stone and petrol. Drink over the next year or so.

June 16, 2010 - Staw color and lite in the glass. Petrol, herbs, floral and melon on nose. Frizz, honey, nuts and subtle apricot initially. Superbly balanced acidity shows its structure mid-pallete with pleasant mouthfeel and tartness. Finish continues with frizz, honey and juice box.

June 1, 2010 - Tasted at room temperature after decanting for 5 hours. The nose had a nice mix of peach, tropical fruit, stone, honey, and spice. The palate was very clean, with just a touch of sweetness. It had citrus and tropical fruit, stone, and a very good spice and peach finish.
