June 8, 2017 - Wow, very close to my '14 note. Dark and dark red fruits, smoke, and a vegetal, green pepper note. Smooth w/ integrated tannins and ready to go IMO. I don't believe I'd sit on this much more, so I've started ripping through the rest of mine. Cheers.
March 31, 2017 - Ten months after my previous note, and it's even better still. Just mellow, smoky, and pleasantly dusty.

May 27, 2016 - Three-plus years after my previous review, this seems like it's in a much better place, Solid, with nicely smoky notes and rich fruit, it feels much more "together".
January 10, 2016 - soft, ripe, black cherry nose with touch vanilla is a bit coarse and somewhat vegetal at first, but opens to some pleasant flowery notes and becomes brighter and more velvety after an hour. straightforward, slightly tannic attack with good acidity and a bit thin but ok fruit,hollow middle, and crude finish. a simple wine, but quite drinkable, and might improve.
December 24, 2014 - Soft tannins. Notes of red fruit, earth, hint of vanilla. A little short and drying on the finish. There's nothing stand out about this wine, but it doesn't disappoint.
December 11, 2014 - Eh. A boring wine. Nothing really wrong with it but there is no excitement to it. It tastes like Rioja but in a "check the box" way. Its a bit flat and devoid of life. I find this to be true with Pujanza wines in general.
June 28, 2014 - a bit of a disappointment considering the expert scores. I found the wine to be flat. There was fruit and a bit of tannin but overall it lacked any brightness, depth or complexity. Yet, there is nothing particularly wrong otherwise
May 4, 2014 - Deep ruby color with purple flecks. Aromas of dark red fruit, earth, funk, and a bit of a green pepper/vegetal note. Dark red fruit and oak spice on the palate, with medium body, acid, and finish. Solid QPR.
