February 4, 2024 - Nicely aged, light but has substance, smooth tannins, mellow fruit of the stewed variety, good balance, nice sipping, interestingly no sediment, drank with pizza with sausage, mushrooms, spinach, crust made with organic Utah oo flour, last bottle, I thought 2007 in Piedmont was a good year when they came out and this wine has developed beautifully.

March 5, 2022 - Garnet in color. Nose of plums, violets, and dark cherries with hint of leather. Taste of dark cherries, plums, menthol, and hint of tobacco. Lovely fruit and nice balance with pronounced acidity. Probably drinking at its peak but this window should last 3-6 years.

February 12, 2022 - Very nice. Deep color, dark crimson, minimal sediment. Expressive bouquet, wood shavings, leather, black tea, dark fruits reaching through. Nice mouthfeel, tarry black cherry, cocoa hints of Orange rind with a tannic bite on the finish. Good if a bit modern, and perhaps lacking a few layers, but a fine value.
