  November 28, 2020 - Blind. En helt strålende nese. Effortless sammensetning av modne aromaer og ungdommelighet. Utvilsomt en korrekt flaske. Vedlig lite smørbukk/banan. Nøtter, mint, gul frukt. Gul frukt i munn. Salt og rund i stilen, men tørr og pen. Medium kons og lengde. 92-93p

  August 15, 2016 - Dinner at Marc's (Marc's Apartment - Chicago, IL): Definitely some nerves about whether this would oxidized or not, but we lucked out. Had a great aroma lemon peel, melon, with some oaky notes. The palate was very very nice. Great silky texture, with beautiful citrus and spice tones.

  May 14, 2016 - HDH auction tasting at Tru; 5/13/2016-5/14/2016 (Chicago, IL): Super high-toned nose that just shows so much fat ripe fruit at the same time. While there's some acidity here, I'm not a fan of that super heavy weightiness on the palate. Add in some cloying waxy fruit and you have a subpar bottle of Puligny. Pretty much showing how you'd expect a Lafon to show. Underwhelming.

  June 14, 2014 - Superbe bouteille. Une soirée avec une petite brise, trois homards de deux livres chacun fraichement bouillis, un riz jasmin et un fromage "le voyageur" pour accompagner la ciabatta blanche. Ma fille de trois ans mange à elle seule un homard entier, plutôt 4 pinces car elle dédaigne la queue, cette partie légèrement un peu moins tendre. On ouvre une grande bouteille qui possède un nez sur la noisette, l’érable, le thé, le tilleuil. En bouche, de la finesse, de la noisette, des fruits jaunes (pêches, nectarine), très très long en bouche. Complexe à souhait. Une GRANDE bouteille pour combler notre soirée d’un GRAND producteur. 96-97 sur 100
