April 18, 2020 - Prunes and dry tomatoes. Tannins still present. For its age, not bad at all.

November 29, 2017 - Very very good, layers of flavor on a dense and firm structure. Drink now but should hold up for a while longer.

March 6, 2016 - Pretty much textbook CdRV, with roasted herbs over ripe black raspberries, with nice balancing acidity and a touch of wood smoke. Not compelling but very correct, a nice weekday wine.

May 5, 2013 - Nose: Raspberry, creme brulee/burnt sugar, alcohol, opening up to smoky later.
Palate: Light mouth feel, tannic on front and back end, hot/spicy finish with lingering oakiness

April 14, 2013 - The bacon fat I can live with, the asparagus or whatever green vegetable you happen to choose as a descriptor, I can't. There's some fruit in there but it's competing with the vegetable and losing, more so on the nose.
