April 10, 2012 - great garnet red color, raspberry cookie, violets and orange zest aromas, bright and tangy, serious presence in the mouth, flirtatious cranberry and cherry flavors with vibrant mineral on the finish, wonderful with food, speaks of place
April 1, 2012 - Strawberry, raspberry, nutty funkiness and spice, with tons of stony minerality... high acidity, and chalky, gripping tannins... a very seriously structured nouveau, with tons of character... which makes this is more of a village level+ Beaujolais, then simply a simple "Nouveau"... all things considered, this is rather serious stuff... which seems to takes on weight and depth the longer it is exposed to air... after 5 hours, the fruit had darkened and the had structure intensified... best enjoyed with food.

December 2, 2011 - Electric purple-fucia; fresh, bright high-toned berry fruits--cranberry and raspberry with just a touch of nouveau spiciness; light mouthfeel, but really tangy and juicy with a little spicy kick and just a hint of earth tones and underbrush,, but tart tangy fruit rules here and continues in the finish. Not your average Nouveau, and a very Holiday friendly red wine. Yummy, but a serious Nouveau, if there is such a thing.
November 28, 2011 - As always, Kermit Lynch has the Nouveaus that make me stop mocking Nouveaus. Bright strawberry with a bit of spice and a hint of banana. Delicious and easy to enjoy.
November 25, 2011 - After reading divergent views of this wine I was curious so opened some bottles for Thanksgiving. Lovely aromatics right out of the chute of unspoofed Gamay florals and fruit. Even better on the palate. Juicy, with some actual depth and layers. Easy drinking and moreish. Enjoyed by all who tried it. Not as 'fun' a wine as it would be at the 8 Euro/bottle Paris price, but okay QPR at $16.
