  April 16, 2017 - Never shy away from these guys. They know how to make juice. Last bottle was still hitting on cabernet cylinders. Can't complain on whole lot-5 bottles from Relic.

  January 16, 2017 - Consistent with previous notes. Becoming more apparent that this wine already peaked and is on the down side but still extremely enjoyable and food friendly, not to mention not an easy find on the auction sites and usually a great QPR for that matter.

  December 4, 2016 - Nose initially sour red fruits, decantered for about an hour then it started to open up into rich ripe fruit. Palate came into place with the air also with nice red fruits and a silky midpalate. Makes me think that they used some mountain fruit in this offering. (My research says Relic made this in 08 and 10-please correct me if I am wrong.) The more air it got the more it smoothed out. Tannins integrated as the night went on. Will compare with next bottle as I bought a 5 bottle lot from Heritage auctions. This wine might get better or it might not. We will see.

  November 28, 2011 - (A) Straight from the bottle, it was a little sweet and flat. With about 3-4 hours of air, it evolved into dark red fruits, cedar, vanilla, and toffee. A touch astringent, which resolves with more and more air.
