  February 4, 2018 - I think this is at its peak for me— a nice balance of acid, tannin and fruit. That said, with such balance,
  longer cellearing will allow this to continue to evolve. Secondary characteristics of tobacco and leather are presenting along with juicy black fruit. Drank over 3 hours and the nose really improved over time. I mean it tastes great, but the nose is what keeps me interested (some mint and cedar). There is something in the nose that reminds me of a 91 dominus (although much more fruit forward) I drank a month or so ago. I think this bottle punches above its weight.

  Popped and poured. Beautiful fruit flavors of blackberry, and other dark fruits, leather, tobacco. Nice rounded tannins. Full-bodied with a pleasant, long finish.

  September 27, 2014 - WOTN for Don and I. Black currant, red plum, leather, tobacco, pan grille, and smoke mix together in a powerhouse brew. Not heavy, but dense - this wine should last 10+ years.
