May 14, 2020 - Won this bottle at a Pollyanna years ago. Admittedly, I probably didn’t store this properly for a while. However, this Cabernet Sauvignon is delightful when aged. The first glass was harsh. But, after being open for a bit, this wine really expresses itself. On the nose, it’s floral. On the palate there are notes of dark fruit and hints of hibiscus. Crisp finish. Should have decanted.

November 3, 2016 - Decanted @ 62 degrees F and allowed to sit 3 hours at same temp.
This reasonably priced, full bodied red has plenty of desirable characteristics. Too bad it's so sweet. On my no no list for excessive sweetness.

January 5, 2014 - Dark fruit and some slight smoke to the nose.

Very smooth start with a burst of tart berry flavors hitting sharply midway. Relatively clean finish with a slightly sticky tannin residual in the backs of the cheeks.

Seems to be a tight flavor; could serve to decant, perhaps, and worth revisiting. Since this is the last year in the drinking window, I'm not sure I've hit the best range on it.

May 13, 2013 - Mixed berries, cranberry, currant, plum, and pepper. Nice little cab for the price. Decent body, structure and acidity with a good finish. Lacks boldness and complexity but remains a likable cab in my book. -87 points-
