June 9, 2018 - Showing dark opaque reddish with some brown. The nose is still very expressive .... rich, voluptuous cassis and berry notes. Some greenness, minerality, graphite.
Full bodied. Definitely needed a couple of hours to really open up. Still good ripe but not jammy fruit, cassis, soft tannins, smooth. Some greenness. Its got a solid mouthfeel, weight and nice complexity.

July 21, 2017 - Drinking beautifully with a good decant. Very well balanced; more jammy in profile than Bordeaux.

June 5, 2017 - Really enjoyable I would say it's at a good peak with structure, and finesse, very Bordeaux like with some. Ice fruit and. No hollow .I'd palate so win win win

September 5, 2015 - Great nose straight out of the bottle. Lots of crushed red fruit and sone on the initial sip with some sour cherry. vanilla and chocolate mid palate, with a bit of cassis. Drank with a nice flat crusted pizza, enhanced the pepperoni. Just starting to come into it's own. Another 3 to 5 years and this will be magnificent.

November 18, 2014 - Beautiful wine. Allow it time to open up.
Still a purple / red colour. Nice red fruit/cassis aromas, ash, floral element. Medium weight, good structure, drying. Cassis and graphite, cedar, tobacco, vanilla on the finish. Medium length to finish. A nice typical Bordeaux style cab profile. Really nice wine.

January 17, 2014 - It was very good, but a bit lighter than anticipated. Very smooth tannins.

August 25, 2013 - Purchased after tasting at the winery. Unbelievable! A gorgeous, deep, mouthfilling, tannic (not too tannic) and beautifully balanced wine, with great aging potential. The cab fruit is very characteristic, and the wine will drink beautifully for several years to come. Bravo!

September 16, 2012 - Wow, probably the best 'big red' we've had from Niagara, sampled yesterday during the annual Lailey Harvest Dinner, this was even better tonight with our steak dinner after 2 hours of aeration, simply marvelous! - Dark, full bodied with a nose of blackfruit, plum, cedar, tobacco, pepper and vanilla, amazing structure and integration for a wine so young, sweet on the palate with terrific length, awesome! (92 Points).
