September 15, 2014 - Matches my notes from a year ago - pleasant red fruit with a hint of earth/spice. Tastes like it's likely peaking now.

July 10, 2013 - Lovely nose of red cherries, earth and spice. The palate matches. Fruit-forward attack but structured with medium tannins/acid complementing the cherries. The midpalate/finish add back the earth & particularly the herbs/spice seen on the nose. Medium-long finish. Very enjoyable to drink, particularly for the price. Drinking great now but should last a good while yet.

February 19, 2013 - Took about an hour to open up. A tad heat at first but that disappeared after it opened up.
Nice colour of dull red, fairly transparent.
Good typical pinot nose .... cranberries, raspberries.
Cherry, raspberry and cranberry flavours. Touch of tannins. Medium body and intensity. Nice stoney minerality, spice element. Acidity + .
Nice effort for my tastes which runs a tad to the austere side for pinots. This has those elements, but has a bit more fruit which I like.
    I'd definitely buy again.

November 23, 2012 - Originally I gave this an 88. It was opened and decanted for 2 hours prior to consumption. Nose was a bit oaky with cherry compote and cola notes. In the mouth, there was good acidity, mildly abrasive tannin structure. Oaky, tart cranberry flavors with a pungent alcohol level

Leaving it in a vacu vin decanter over night.. Actually 24 hours. This wine has come together nicely, thus the increase in score. The palate has come together nicely. The tart cranberry has softened and the oak isn't as pronounced. There is still good acidity. Some baking spices have revealed themselves on the nose. Overall I like this wine better than yesterday.
