April 7, 2024 - Last bottle. Starting to show it's age by fading color. Slightly brown hue around the edges. Nose is bright fruit. The fruit is fading on the palate, not sure this will last another 5 years without losing more. Nice sandalwood and rawhide flavors.
April 7, 2024 - I think this vintage has come around very nicely by now and delivers great value (for the money paid at the time). Not the most complex wine, but just really yummy.
March 29, 2024 - Underwhelming. I heard all the Cru Riservas were declassified in 2010 but they did not elevate this wine. Simple but an easy drink. This does not set serve the 90 points that a “fine wine” earns.
March 19, 2024 - Very enjoyable wine with flowers, cherries and some dark fruits and earthy notes. Very smooth from start to long finish.
March 14, 2024 - Showing some maturity with some dried fruits lovely elegantly on the nose. Doesn’t have the intensity and power of some years. In a good spot. Has softened from my last bottle.
March 13, 2024 - Impatience will be my fatal flaw: I couldn’t keep my hands off my last bottle. Consumed tonight with an ersatz pasta dish of pomodoro puttanesca with Aidell’s garlic-artichoke smoked chicken sausage, peppers and onions, it was in fine form. Not the most complex Nebbiolo but an immensely satisfying one.

Really fine Nebbiolo. Elegant and tannins on retreat, dried roses, red fruits, tar, mT, h-A, mB, dry.

February 17, 2024 - Double decanted about an hour before starting on it. Very little sediment to speak of (it's filtered, but still threw a tiny bit). This is drinking very well, though I imagine it will be even better with more age. No specific notes taken.
January 22, 2024 - This is coming together so well. Classic nebiollo, pure fruit, tar, ample structure.
