December 17, 2018 - Pretty thin - cork was half out of bottle. Not ruined but not great.

December 17, 2015 - Young and expressive nose of redolent red cherry and dried raspberries. Great balance on the palate with the right red cherry, sous bio and a hint of dried dill. The acidity was a bit prominent at the finish but overall a wonderful wine.

December 17, 2015 - Blind Dinner at Briciola (Chicago, IL): Served blind. I unhesitatingly called this a Burgundy. Whoops. Well, following the train of thought, I did agree that this was slightly more rustic and the tannins a bit coarser, so Cote de Beaune, and given the lovely red fruit and fresh acids, I had it pegged as a 2001. This was screaming juicy cherries the whole time, too. What an amazing bottle...

May 14, 2015 - Very expressive nose of sweet red fruit, macerated red cherries, like cherry compote. Surprisingly fresh, medium minus body, medium acidity, bright red floral tones with dry raspberry with a touch of green herbs. This is in. Great spot right now, it won't get any better, but has a lot left, impressive.
