May 11, 2022 - Unfortunate to see only a few reviews, I hope that doesnt mean only a few people got to enjoy this wine. Lots of raspberry blackberry and a sweet tannin backbone that made this wine very enjoyable. At 12 years old it started to show some secondary notes of leather and barnyard. Absolutely delicious wine.

December 26, 2021 - From magnum decanted and drunk over 2 days. Black cherry, currant, and lead pencil notes in an extracted but balanced package with fine grained tannins. Right in the drinking window but still has room to run.

February 3, 2018 - This was a stunning wine. Opulent, but balanced. Gorgeous fruit and velvet tannins that softened considerably over four hours or so. A bargain at this price. Drink or hold for another decade.

December 29, 2017 - Complete confirmation of my last notes on this wine. Very enjoyable!

July 8, 2017 - I was blown away by this bottle! Eight to ten years is my favorite time frame for Napa cab, and of course this fit right in. No orange in color at all yet, but revealing great fruit, and very subtle tawneyness. Still blue fruit to me, and at this age the oak is barely discernible. The toast was subtle as well, and I did find a great deal of blackberry, dark cherry, and I'll stick my neck out, a bit of mint! (Don't get me started on the eucalyptus tree topic!). Somehow this massive wine has developed many layers of complexity as well - something Petite Verdot I think sometimes strips away, but not at all in this case! I loved this wine! I'm a huge CC fan, and am looking forward to trying other older vintages of Eternity.
