August 21, 2020 - Cigar, blood, truffle and earth. Soft and delicate with sweet red fruit and leafy character on the palate. With time, it has built up more muscle and structure to blossom up into a feminine and round beauty. Very good.

July 29, 2020 - From a bottle with high shoulder fill.
Almost black appearance with deep garnet rim.
Nose; intense earthy black currant fruit, hint of coco and licorice. Wow!
In the mouth; Meaty, intense, soft tannins, bright fruit, still huge, a real power house. Incredibly young for it's age. Finish of watermelon and mince meats.
Continued to grow and develop in the glass. Incredible wine!

July 10, 2020 - Hugely impressed how well this has aged. So tannic. Totally mouth puckering. Black fruits. Still so fresh. Brilliant wine. Shared by SW

March 2, 2020 - Wonderful old Bordeaux. Kirsch and dark fruit. Long finish.

February 20, 2020 - (WineBid bottle, high shoulder level, excellent color.) Many of the ‘66 Bordeaux are forbiddingly stern and austere, well into their tertiaries. This is not one of them. Remarkable intense kernel of sweet dark berry fruit which refuses to fade with air. Nice framework of acidity and tannin which is well integrated. Perhaps it was even better a decade ago but beguiling and winsome even now, like a supermodel in her early forties.
