January 4, 2022 - Enjoyable with abundant minerality. Seems to be a little shut-down at the moment and will wait at least five years to open next bottle. Solid QPR at time of purchase.

February 3, 2019 - First bottle in almost four years. PnP and allowed to slow ox. Beautiful ruby color with no bricking. Aromatically presents baked cherries, red currant, damp loamy soil, smoked cherry wood, and baking spice. On the palate this presents an electric acidity that fills your mouth along with cinnamon and spice notes. In the mid palate the moderately extracted and dusty tannins cleanse the palate where cranberries, cinnamon, and red currant move in for a cool, smoky and extended finish that is persistent and elegantly subtle.

Drink or hold. No loss of energy or elegance. Phenomenal QPR.

May 9, 2018 - Nice density on an enjoyably atypical if slightly disjointed and hard-cornered profile. Still too young and tannic for Indian but without the balance and fruit to age much. Great on its own now, especially after it opens up, and maybe even better in two years. Best 2020-2021.

November 22, 2017 - Last bottle of six. Wish that I could have hung onto one or two for five more years. But, this wine was just too delicious. At $24 per bottle, I should have bought a case.
