January 14, 2022 - 2019 Visit to Cromwell (Central Otago, NZ): Andrew served the Boxler and Fritz Haag blind, side-by-side. Touches of kerosene, rocky minerals, citrus fruits and pears on the bouquet. A brilliant Riesling, balanced, glycerol and rich. Drinking very well.

July 13, 2014 - Bright, clear golden yellow
Nose; sweet, yellow fruits, melon, pear, honeysuckle
Palate: balanced, good acidity, residual sugar, melon, papaya, honeysuckle, glycerin , mouthful long finish good body delicious wine ( sweet for my taste)

June 20, 2014 - (at The Modern – NYC) Absolutely gorgeous. This producer belongs at the very top of the Alsace hierarchy in my mind. Great purity, richness and zip. Terrific. (94)
