October 7, 2022 - Notes of stone fruit, acidity, but ultimately left this too long.

October 28, 2016 - This wine is drinking beautifully. A lovely, clean nose showing stone fruits, citrus and minerals. Light straw colour. On the palate, focused fruit with bright, balancing acidity. The wine took on weight in the glass with time. Delicious now, can drink or hold.

September 6, 2015 - Color was a bit darker than expected and at first this was rather flat on the palate. After a few minutes of air, this seemed to wake up, and showed a clean palate, clear fruit, light citrus notes. This is round on the sides, showing a softer exterior, while there is good underlying acidity. Not that much briskness/cut/edge, but still quite good. Drink now. New City with family, Labor Day weekend.

June 12, 2015 - Immediately so much better than a bottle of 2010 Bessin 1er Forets a few weeks ago, that wine showing more mellow pear, but this Fourchaume showing more citrus, grapefruit pith, acidity and energy than the weaker, softer Forets. Hints of saline and chalk. No oak. Nice brisk finish. Delicious Chablis.

February 1, 2015 - Very lovely. Bright, straw colour. Nose of white fleshed fruits. Green apples and citrus on the palate, with a good, mineral and acidic backbone. This will develop better complexity with a little more time.

July 11, 2014 - This is rich (mostly yellow orchid fruit), sappy and with good cut, balance and a really nice finish but doesn't display much characteristic of Chablis. A much better showing than the previous bottle but this is still an easy pass.

May 21, 2014 - Very lovely, bright, steely, minerally wine. Predominantly green apples and citrus on the palate. This will develop lovely complexity with a little time.

May 11, 2014 - A delicious Chablis that is drinking beautifully now and will improve with time. Light straw colour, with good fruit, crisp acidity and a central citrus and spice flavour profile. This went beautifully with fresh oysters. Great VFM, and a lovely wine.
