May 6, 2012 - Not my preferred style. Quite some oak, coffee and alcohol with not too much space for fruit. Dense wine, barbera is normally more elegant and I believe previous vintages were more typical from this producer.

March 8, 2012 - Purple clear colour. Somewhat closed nose, releasing cherry and little earthy tones. Very fruity taste. Tanins are there, but the alcohol thakes the lead. Therefore the wine is somewhat polished. If i had the chance, i would not open this before 2013.
