Community Tasting Notes 4

October 29, 2017 - This one was good though a bit simple. Nose offered a nice perfume of red fruits and some spice. The palate was similar in composition with lightly spiced cherries and touch of red raspberries, though the flavor was restrained and faded on the finish. I guess some would label this as a food wine as it made a nice complement to dinner but was less intriguing solo.

August 10, 2013 - Tasted at winery estate. Minerals, dry finish, big extraction.

July 30, 2013 - Willamette Valley Oregon Trip 4 & 1/2 Days; 7/29/2013-8/4/2013 (Willamette Valley, Oregon): This was a bit more tannic than the Flat Block, dried herbs, spice, red raspberry, needs a little more time to evolve but looks promising. 90(+)pts.

July 26, 2013 - IPNC Seminars (McMinnville OR): Tasting. Very foward and ruit drive showing simple red and black cherry with nice level of elegance and very fine tannins. Slightly sweet finish was a slight distraction, but good textures a real positive.
