January 21, 2013 - Focused bouquet of ripe red fruits, coulis, blueberries, pencil lead, toasted brown sugar. Palate less interesting but balanced and quaffable. Great value.

August 10, 2010 - The nose is dominated by what I can only describe as the "old book" smell that's common with a lot of French wines I've had. The cherries linger in there as well along with some cola, spice, and a touch of green. Tart cherries, tobacco, earth, and dusty tannins are very well integrated on the palate. Lush mouthfeel. The finish is a bit short. Drinking well.
