September 22, 2013 - Whom can like these kind of overextracted wines that RP.Jr employees were promoting? Things have to change...
Maybe for a 4 bucks bottle this can't be better in that way.
Four years on and still horrible.
My last bottle os this people. I swear...despite are buying wineries everywhere in Spain. :-)

September 15, 2013 - Drank with white truffle, mushroom, and chicken risotto.

Smooth, good red fruit notes, with prunes, fig, black cherry, fig preserves, and white pepper. Some blood and leather on the nose, and on the finish. Finish is fairly short on this one. Seems to be well balanced, and still has some tannic astringency. Overall a nice daily-drinker. Enjoyable with and without food.

August 11, 2013 - Deep ruby, black core, narrow slow-moving legs @15% abv (sic). Medium aromas of black fruits and pepper, loads of smoke and toast, smoked meat. Off-dry to medium sweet, medium(-) acidity, medium dry tannins., medium(+) body and high alcohol. Medium(+) flavors of dried raisins, black prunes, Xmas pudding fruit, pepper, spice, salami, nutmeg. Glycerine-like texture, firm. Medium dry finish, lacks acidity to be balanced but oh man ample authenticity and rusticity. A very interesting wine and I hope to come across many more of these character wines.

November 27, 2012 - Did not like it. It has a weird, strong taste that we found unpleasant

September 6, 2012 - This really wasn't very good. Good deep red color here and at 14% really doesn't show much heat. What is striking is the aroma and flavor profile which for me was a dead ringer for dandelion roots. This is like cabernet franc on a bad day acting very weedy. This is 70% garnacha tintorera which is unique for it not having a white pulp like almost every varietal, it's red inside there! The balance is monastrell. I don't recommend this even at the asking price of $10.

April 8, 2012 - Highly unusual. Bright powerful aroma. The concentration of Mourvédre overcomes the Grenache’s bright cherry, gives it a dark intensity. Smoky - was there a grass or forest fire somewhere near the vineyard in growing season?
