August 19, 2019 - EOHK. This remains a dark, huge, youngish wine. Unbelievably large production. (145362)

April 13, 2019 - Didn’t get the same wow effect from my second and last bottle of VS 68 like I did last year. Nonetheless, a tremendous wine. See previous note.

February 23, 2019 - Dark purple with red hues, bricking, fading color, decent stain; sweet herbal note, sweet and sour red fruit cherry syrup, licorice, sweet raisins, brown sauce, glycerin, eucalyptus and clay notes. This showed so fresh I thought it was a '99 CdP. Unbelievably great shape and youthful, but seemed rather straight forward despite notes above. Re-tasted and seemed to get more complexity. Heritage Auction Blind Tasting at Jean-Georges Vegas. ,

November 25, 2018 - Dark ruby almost black. Like syrup in the glass with healthy legs. Cork was 3/4 of the way wet. Great nose that kept developing in the glass and long delicious finish. This was my oldest wine that I drank that was still good.

October 28, 2018 - A fantastic bottle of legendary wine. Opened bottle for a couple hours before consuming. Deep dark purple in color. A spectrum of flavors and profiles - red fruits, blue fruits, black fruits, plums, charcoal and ash, sauvage and so much more. Very well built and drinking as if its got plenty of time left. Have had older Unico's and they really seem to age gracefully. This was no exception.
