May 25, 2022 - Only signs of age is some sediment in the bottle and glass.

Color is beautiful purple in the glass with no real rim variation. Huge aromas of ripe red plum, blackberry, and some spice, but this is so expressive right now. Full body, acid and alcohol are still present but not overpowering. This held up great and not that overripe jammy Zin that you can sometimes get especially with age. Flavors are blueberry, some light pepper, but overall this reminds me of how good Zin can be in Paso and if done right how great it can age! Easily has 5+ more years.

April 16, 2020 - No signs of fading. This is one huge Zin, more from the massive fruit than the alcohol. If you enjoy this style, the Epoch Zinfandel is a real romp.

November 27, 2019 - Rich and opulent are the words that come to mind. Blackberry, black pepper and bold tannins make this a formidable match for grilled meats. Nice.

September 25, 2017 - Great Zin, smooth and polished. One of Epoch's best wines, always sell out quickly, often can't get all you like in the wine club order.

February 26, 2017 - PNP. Still rich and vibrant. Attractive fruit aromas with a note of pencil lead. Juicy fruit on the palate. Finishes with some pop and a black pepper note. More life ahead, but alas, not for me. This is my last 2010.

May 31, 2015 - Popped the bottle that was accessed about 40 days prior with Coravin. No evidence of oxidation or change. Notes consistent with prior tasting note on 4/22. This bottle followed finishing off a decent bottle of Chianti Classico Riserva. Interesting comparison in the huge extra dimension of fruit this displayed.

April 22, 2015 - Blueberry pie, spring flowers and a very soft finish. No pepper, no heat. Very refined and fruit focused, but not one dimensional.

January 11, 2015 - I'm a fan of Epoch, but this wine didn't blow me away. Very good Zin but not at this price point.
