December 11, 2022 - 76% Syrah/24% Mourvedre. Wild berry, black raspberry, and dark plums. Still well balanced after 12 years of age with notes of black licorice, minerals, earth, spice, and subtle tobacco. Smooth tannins at this point with a savory long finish. Excellent now and over the next few years if you have any.

September 3, 2022 - Medium deep color. A rich wine with lots of black and blue fruits in the nose with licorice, minerals, floral, and hints of chocolate. Blackberries, black cherries, plums, raspberries, and spice in the flavor. An elegant and complex wine, full bodied, well balanced and a long finish.

August 22, 2021 - Nose: sage, funky earth, tomato leaf, some minerality. Blackberry, black currant, smoke, leather. Palte: blackberry, black currant, violets, chocolate, tobacco, pepper, green bell pepper, full body, medium acidity, firm tannins, long finish,

April 5, 2020 - Dark fruit, cocoa, meat and blood. Needs red meat and or lots of strong gooey cheese. Paired well with lamb chops and with Kobe cheese burgers. A few hours of air mellowed out the extracted chocolate and fruit flavors and greatly improved this wine.

December 2, 2019 - Wonderful blend (89% Syrah and 11% Mourvèdre). Still good fruit
