May 20, 2017 - tight nose for sure. Black cherry in the opaque, very deep wine. Somewhat dry, a bit of an acidic bite. Black tea? 89 pts.
September 1, 2013 - Notes on day 3. Nose is superb: deep and luscious notes of blueberry, blackberry and a hint of anise.
Taste: major fruit including blueberry and blackberry consistent w the nose along with cassis and a bit of vanilla.
Still pretty chewy. This is good for a while.
April 20, 2013 - No detailed notes. A bit hot, pretty ripe. Not over extracted, just definitely shows the Paso style. Prefer their other PETs.
July 28, 2012 - Great PS, full flavored. Will only get better with time.
June 15, 2012 - Pacific Pointe Wine Tasting Club - Petite Sirah Smackdown; Round 2: Violet color with earthy, dark fruit and spice aromas. On the palate, it medium-bodied, fruit forward and slightly tannic though smooth with blackberry, vanilla, and clove flavors. Approaching medium finish. 14.1% alcohol

April 25, 2012 - no formal notes taken, but it was excellent.
March 9, 2012 - I found this quite enjoyable even at this young age for a PS. Don't be afraid to drink this now. Due to a lack of time, I didn't even decant it, and I don't feel it suffered due to this. Deep, dark purple coloring, soft nose, intense fruit. A long finish that leaves your mouth a bit dry. The more I taste this one, the more I'm liking it, but I'll probably save my next bottle for a few years to see what happens. Didn't notice TCA on my bottle as Richard pointed out. Hopefully that was a one off.
