December 24, 2011 - Extraordinary value. Single vineyard Kab from an under-the-radar producer for $15. Showing the lean, mineral side of the '08 vintage, this is classic Kabinett-- poised, tensile, fresh, utterly crisp, and yet delivering far more complexity than you'd expect. Lime, citrus, slate, a kiss of residual sugar, something herbal, and one happy Jew enjoying it with Chinese food on Xmas eve.
