November 9, 2013 - On the darker side for a pinot: approaching garnet at the edges. A slight barnyard aroma hits you on the nose. The taste has an earthiness with red berries behind it. The taste is consistent from the front of the palate to the back.

All in all, an unexpectedly decent pinot for a good price.

April 30, 2012 - Smoking goodness. Quite literally with the smoking part on the nose. Palate seems a bit hollow, but there is a finish. Maybe it is just too young. We shall see how it opens up.

January 23, 2012 - Burgundy red is no surprise. Promising spicy nose but flat on the palate. Lacks fruit but High alcohol and short. Very disappointing and certainly not worth $17.

December 16, 2011 - Nice black berry and light sandlewood nose with juicy fruit aspect; decent extract, good midpalate with a great little spicy finish that's not over bearing. Very nice little pinot. 87-88

September 24, 2011 - Dark strawberry colour; spicy cherry with medium length. Slight tannin that add a structure to the wine.

March 6, 2011 - The nose has dark cherry and coffee notes, with the front palate showing blackberry and cherry fruit, however the mid to back palate lacks complexity and has green tannins and some unresolved acidity to finish.

Will improve from a couple of years in the bottle
