  February 6, 2013 - Tasted second day open, this is a gleaming cherry red from the southern portion of the Côte de Beaune. Reserved gentle tannins cover red fruit and a small hint of moss and peat. More fruity than some, easy to enjoy. Medium finish. Not a bad way to get into a burgandy without taking out a second mortgage.

I guess this is my first red of the day as well. Same thoughts as with the Bouchard 09 Rouge (basic), from earlier this week on DAY1. Palate gives a soft hand of fruit upfront and then finishes off more serious-like and not as light as the nose would suggest.
