June 29, 2013 - The '06 was my favorite vintage for this wine, but Peter Lehmann wines never disappoint. Full-bodied and bold, with plenty of blueberry, some spice, a little oak, and some definitive chocolate on the lasting finish. Chose to have this bottle from the cellar on this day because of news of Peter Lehmann's passing. A great man, an iconic figure in Australia's wine industry, and a man who stood up to big business and fought for the little guys. And won. RIP. 89-90 pts.

February 1, 2013 - Traditional Aussie Shiraz that quickly turned sour. Not sure if it was this bottle or the wine but serve cool and with hearty food.

December 31, 2012 - Nose fairly strong of oak/cedar. Taste is blackberry & woody with a hint of pepper. Has medium acidity and a medium feel. Fairly dry on the palate/strong tannins. Medium length finish. (A)
