October 5, 2016 - My last - and drunk at its peak.
Very good as per more recent notes but just falls short on complexity (and therefore an excellent 90+ mark) and well short on value for money.

July 20, 2016 - As per my February note.
At its peak, a little more complexity would have launched it from the very good into the excellent 90+ range. A bit on the pricy side.
Drink over the next 18 months or so.

February 10, 2016 - How wrong one can be!
This had aged very well against the expectation of my 2013 note. Intense spiced cherry/wild strawberry with warmth and balancing pinot-bitter finish. Good length. Now on a plateau well beyond what I originally expected with perhaps a couple of years ahead at this level.

February 8, 2015 - Translucent red, strawberry and raspberry aromas with ripe cherry, a touch of boysenberry, cinnamon, nutmeg and wild mushroom on the palate, a little earth, good bottle age, drinking well but probably not going to do a lot more. This bottle was bought as a gift from the cellar 4 years ago, I'm not sure it was worth the money paid(RRP $50).

August 28, 2013 - Decanted for 90 minutes. No discernible sediment.
Nose of wild strawberries which combine with sour cherry on the palate. A focussed concentration with just the right amount of bitterness to balance the fruit elements. Medium bodied with reasonable length and depth.
Sound effort but somewhat unexciting for the money paid. I think this wine is a pointe and will need drinking over the next year before it leans out.
