  January 8, 2018 - Very savory herbal especially garrigue nose with a touch of high pitched fruit. Light weight mouth transitions into much more red berries. Ends with herbs and some sweet tannins that provide relief. Very complex and interesting for the price.

  July 9, 2017 - Medium/dark garnet - clearing at rim. Medium aromas of black/ sweet cherry with some dark berries. - beautiful. Medium palate of cherry. Medium acidity and tannins. Tasting quite mature now, doesn't appear to be aging as well as other Etna Rosso - would drink now

  April 2, 2015 - piccola detonazione di liquirizia, menta, caramello, violetta, zenzero, perfino dolce lievitato, e molte altre spezie che non si vorrebbe mai finire di odorare; attacco di raro equilibrio tra freschezza e morbidezza, finale non lunghissimo ma piacevolmente dolceamaro con punta cinerea, di straordinario equlibrio

  December 2, 2013 - There's an attractive transparency to the mountain fruit (raspberry and cherry). With air, a delicious note of fennel/anise develops too. Lots of bright acidity. Tannins are still fairly prominent and wall off the fruit somewhat...Very enjoyable now and perhaps better in a couple years if the tannins relax their grip.
