December 13, 2019 - A beautifully balanced wine. Bouquet of plum jam & clove. Mouth-watering flavours of mushroom & thyme, leaving a smooth, rich and long mouth-feel.

November 13, 2018 - Slight clearing on edges but not much. Nose of cassis, menthol, coffee bean, plum, eucalyptus and again lots of cassis (Jagermeister, cough syrup, Ribena). Palate introducing some savoury notes (stewed fruits), sultana and a bit of a green finish in the form of Pernod (aniseed). Medium- length, smooth, very ripe fruit.

Amazing nose, palate was a bit over the hill but still - good stuff - but should be drunk now.

August 16, 2018 - Back vintage that is drinking really well at the moment. Cab Franc is main grape of the blend. Lots of herbal notes and dark fruits and baking spices. Fun to offer at wine bar. Great at price point.

January 14, 2016 - the wine is huge complexity underneath of both blue and black fruits, crushed stone, chalk and wild thyme.
    the palate is very concentrated

September 13, 2015 - Aroma of cassis, plum and blackberry, good fruity palate, with a hint of smoke but still drinking quite young, one the whole soft but a few sharp tannins, short to medium finish, still a few years before this will peak
