December 29, 2023 - 18c: no decant; bright ruby purple; gripping attack, vigorous tannins, full, fresh fruit, long finish; schist, plush black raspberries, stewed plums, lots of dried cherries; still quite youthful; 18.

December 23, 2023 - Has held up very well, gaining finesse and elegance over time.

December 8, 2023 - Nose- a nice mix of Black & red fruits, spices, floral elements & camphor.
Palate- black cherries, pronounced tannins, with floral notes, camphor, spices, medium + acidity in a full body with noticeable oak but nicely integrated on the finish. This has held up quite well, especially for the dough.
The dish was steak with shrimp in a heavy cream sauce.

July 20, 2022 - Nécessite une longue aération (ici 24 heures en carafe), le fond de bouteille était bien meilleur que le début.

July 16, 2022 - Decanted for 1 hour, another nice showing, certainly got better with time in the decanter. Initially a little too much alcohol in the nose, this dissipated quickly revealing a complex nose of plum, violet, leather and earth, lovely palate of tart cherry, plum, pomegranate, notes of tea and earth on the very dry long finish. Ready to drink but one needs to be in no hurry, 3 bottles left. Paired with made from scratch veal Marsala.
