  April 6, 2024 - Lizzie St Supper Club (Lizzie St, London): Effortlessly smooth and elegant wine . Soft almost feminine if we could ,draw use of this old school term ,for a port and worked so well to close a beautiful dinner. Magical wine and a very easy 93 and really can live another 30 years.

  April 19, 2022 - Certified Port Educator (CPE) Course; 4/18/2022-4/24/2022 (Porto, Portugal): Bottled in 2022. Elegant nose of light spice and some soft touches of wood. A little alcohol/heat on the entry, giving way to warmth and Christmas spices. Nice rich, warm finish.

  April 9, 2022 - Tres beau tawny avec des aromes de raisins de corinthe et de noix. Le porto a un bel équilibre entre le sucre et l’acidité puis finit sur une longue finale. C’est fort bien fait et rassemble tout ce que je veux d’un bon tawny.

  January 30, 2021 - Light brown colored, notes of brown sugar, sugar pie, honey, pears ending on a thick and viscous unctuous ending that last well over a minute. Had it side by side with the Warre’s Otima 20 years old and this was in another league. Although this was great, I prefer vintage dated Port’s over tawny’s. Priced $99 CAD, drink now.

  January 23, 2020 - Kopke Red and White Tawny's (P81): Sweet dried plum fruit. Quite dense and compact. Lovely balance and piercing acidity in the aftertaste that leaves a very good impression.
  Lots of complex spices like wood, coffee, vanilla, orange, sewer and dirt.
  Great stuff!
  Bottled in January 2020.
